"Joyful Curmudgeon" An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful. At the same
time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel
called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.
The May/June issue of “The Animals Voice Magazine” features a fascinating article titled “Wolf Nation” by Jim Robertson. This excellent account of the wolf in the history of our country up until today opened up my eyes to facts of which I was unaware.
Jim Robertson is an ethical wildlife photographer. That means that he has empathy and respect for the animals that he photographs in their wild habitats.
The public needs to be made aware of the fact that most wolf photos that they see in magazines, calendars, posters, etc. are of captive, stressed animals who are manipulated by trainers using backgrounds with views of mountains or forests. In my opinion this is fooling people while exploiting other animals.
Do yourself a favor and read “Wolf Nation” by Jim Robertson in the latest issue of “The Animals Voice Magazine.” It’s great!
