Guilt-Free? – 17 July 2007
This week’s circular for one of the area’s supermarkets features a
“health” article promoting the sale of flesh products. Under the
headings of “Easy to Eat Well” and “Getting To The Meat of It” they
reinforce all the old myths about animal-derived protein, then bring
in the nonsense about buying “naturally-bred” meat “where possible.”
The part that says about a certain named company: “They seek to offer
a stress-free environment” to chickens, just goes to show how gullible
many people choose to be.
The whole article is based on manipulation of the reader. Then they
have the gall to end this piece of nonsense with “And Enjoy,
guilt-free!” What about the suffering of animals who are ultimately
slaughtered? There is no such thing as “guilt-free” animal products for
anyone with a conscience.

"Joyful Curmudgeon"
An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful. At the
same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the
world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true
peace and compassion.Blog
