With all the fuss about Michael Vick and the dog fighting scandal
lately, I’ve been thinking about the thousands of animals tortured by
“scientists” funded by the government and by “charities” that
manipulate the emotions of the public with promises of a “cure” for
this or that disease. In a vicious cycle, egotistical celebrities,
corporations, and billionaires allow themselves to be flattered and
conned by these money-grubbers.
Why are those who are involved in the cruel pursuit of dog fighting
considered criminals while vivisectionists – “scientists” who
sadistically torture their innocent victims before their eventual
“serial sacrifice” – continue to be respected and honored? They are all
criminals!
One such much-honored monster, Harry Harlow, whose field was
experimental psychology, horrifically abused newborn rhesus macaques by
emotional deprivation and devised unspeakably cruel tortures, among
them: a “rape rack” for artificially inseminating female monkeys.
“The only thing I care about is whether a monkey will turn out a
property I can publish. I don’t have any love for them. I never have. I
don’t really like animals. I despise cats. I hate dogs. How could you
love monkeys?” *
One would think that anyone capable of doing such things would be
labeled a criminal, at the very least. Instead Harry Harlow received the
National Medal of Science, the highest award for scientific achievement
in the United States!
