If you’re not acquainted with the “Letters and Responses” section
of our website, please visit:
http://www.all-creatures.org/letters.html
There you will find opinions on a wide variety of topics, and you may
be motivated to write some letters, too. Letter-writing is a good way to
share your thoughts and ideas, as well as to help bring about positive
change.
Here is just one of many letters, including our response, which we
have published:
Letter from Lolita Delarosa about our Web Site Ministry and Her
Witness – 20 Jul 2007:
Hi Mary and Frank,
Thank you for posting my letter to you in October 2005 on the
internet. It is my pleasure to let the people in the whole world know
about the changes in my life.
It's real indeed; if we follow God's way, we will live in paradise
– the land he had promised where there is no more pain, no more
sickness and no more sufferings.
When I changed to a vegetarian diet, my life became better; but
since I turned to a vegan diet, I feel my life is almost perfect, the
way I wanted it to be. I started to explore the blessings that God has
given me. Music is one of the blessings I received from God. Below is
my website.

May God’s abundant blessings be with both of you and your family,
and with all the things you do, always and forever.
With all my heart,
Lolita Delarosa

Letter from Lolita Delarosa Concerning Our Ministry and Mission –
28 Oct 2005:
Dear Mary and Frank,
Hi there! I am Lolita Delarosa, and was born in the Philippines in
1960.
As I read your mission and purpose in life, it touches my heart;
and that made me write you these comments about your concern toward
God's creation. I believed God is answering your prayer because you
have the wisdom to deliver this message to people. I feel like I am
connected with your concern in life.
I grew up in a family who are meat eaters and were not aware about
health.
In my youth I suffered so much in many ways until I reached 34
years old.
In November 1994, I didn't sleep for six nights and I wondered why.
On the seventh day, in the evening, I was already dying. So I prayed
to God and said: God why am I suffering like this? I know I did not
commit any mortal sin, but I know I made a lot of mistakes. So I heard
a voice saying "BECAUSE YOU KILL LOTS OF ANIMALS LIKE THEM". I was
shocked when I heard this voice that made me understand what it meant
right away, where I didn't have an idea about vegetarian diets at all.
So, in the morning, I said to God, "God I am not going to eat meat
anymore. If I am going to get sick, it is not your will, but if I am
going to become healthy, it is your will. So, I stand with my promises
to the Lord. I became well. In June 2004, I decided to become vegan. I
feel much better.
I attended the Filipino Seventh Day Adventist Church in downtown
Toronto in 2003, where none of them are vegetarian. It challenged me,
so I decided to join them. Now, since this year, members are required
to bring only vegetarian food to our potluck.
I thank God for giving us a chance to get to know Him, His beauty,
love and purity. I also thank God for the people like you whose lives
are 100% dedicated to God.
It's my pleasure to offer support in prayer, if possible.
May God bless you more and more with your mission in life.
Thank you for your kind consideration.
With Love
Lolita

Dear Lolita:
Thank you very much for your kind and encouraging words and for
telling us about yourself and what is happening in your life and
church.
We believe that God reaches out and touches everyone, but
unfortunately many people don't listen, and even fewer follow through
on the mission that God has for each of us. We are so happy to hear
that you've listened, and are following God's will for your life.
We also host a veg-Christian email discussion list that might be of
interest to you. If you are interested, please let us know.
We look forward to hearing from you again.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
