Kangaroo Slaughter – 13 November 2007
We’re glad we stopped supporting Greenpeace years ago. It is
absolutely disgusting that Greenpeace Australia promotes the killing
of kangaroos for meat and leather, and that they export this meat to
Germany, Russia, Belgium, and France. This is a massacre of three
million adult kangaroos each year. And with each female kangaroo who
is slaughtered, as many as three joeys in the pouch are killed. On 13
October 2007 Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed into law the repeal
of a 1971 California ban on kangaroo leather sales. There seems to be
no end to the hardness of heart of those who sell their souls in this
world.
And as though their betrayal of the kangaroos isn’t bad enough,
Greenpeace also supports the mass slaughter of harp seals in Canada and
the trophy hunting of polar bears in Alaska and Canada.
The above information is based on an article from the October 2007
issue of “Animal People.”

"Joyful Curmudgeon"
An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful. At the
same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the
world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true
peace and compassion.Blog
