The Beauty of June – 2 June 2008

During our walks in early June, Frank and I enjoy the beauty of the wild roses and their perfume that fills the air. That’s really taking a break to smell the roses!J

Also among the wildflowers making their annual appearance are the following: daisy, fleabane, hawkweed, birdsfoot trefoil, buttercup, yellow sweet clover, dame’s rocket, columbine, and wild geranium.

"Joyful Curmudgeon"
An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.
