Beethovenís Minuet in G Ė 28 June 2008

While listening to the classical music radio station this morning, I heard Beethovenís Minuet in G played on the violin with a piano accompaniment. Itís been a while since I heard this piece, and it brought back memories of my girlhood days when I was taking violin lessons. I still have all of my old sheet music and music books, including the ďStandard Violin PiecesĒ that contains Beethovenís Minuet in G that I always enjoyed playing. Today I think Iíll get my violin out of its case, tune it up, and play this and perhaps a few other tunes!

"Joyful Curmudgeon"
An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.
