No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.

Happy Anniversary, Frank! Here’s something I wrote today:

Our 47th Wedding Anniversary

Today we celebrate year forty-seven
Of being married – a bit of heaven!
Working to help those most in need –
Peacefully, patiently we proceed
Till fellow creatures will be freed;
Knowing that our time’s well spent
Fulfilling God’s original intent.
No more will cruelty abound;
No more blood will soak the ground.
No animal will go to slaughter –
Just another word for murder.
Truth will reign around the earth
When suffering’s replaced by mirth.
To bring God’s vision to fruition,
Every day’s a celebration
When we honor God’s creation.
