Summary:

• Conservationism is an important cause and needs to be addressed. There are tons of endangered species that need to be protected or they will soon be extinct. The population of tigers has decreased drastically because of poachers and deforestation.
• Tiger products are illegal but still sold through out the U.S., Canada and the worlds which encourage poachers because they can make so much money by selling tiger products.
• Anthony Marr speaks across the nation to raise awareness and he is trying to create a new generation of conservationists.

Opinion:

Anthony Marr�s presentation was very interesting. His cause is very important but it is not heard of as much as other issues. I think it is awesome that he travels the nation and the world giving presentations about conservationism. I know that species are endangered and becoming extinct but that doesn�t get into the news everyday. Anthony Marr�s cause is one that should be supported all around the world because he is trying to keep us from destroying our world. The tigers and other animals are endangered because of the way people live and use their resources. Eventually, if we continue to live the way we are, our world will be a desert. The tiger population could be extinct in less than a decade.

Anthony Marr�s presentation was a lot different that the other speakers we�ve had. He isn�t trying to persuade us to have the same kind of views as him or support a certain type of government. He is trying to make the world a better place for all of its inhabitants, humans and animals, by sharing his experiences and information he ha found. I support his cause and I applaud his efforts to save the tigers and their habitats.
