Your website is perhaps the most beautiful, inspiring animal websites I have ever seen. As a Christian Catholic animal rights vegan, it is soooo heartwarming to see this and to feel "at home" in a world where we live outside the culture on a daily basis. Thank you so much for your work and for reaching out through this site. I am going to pass the site along to others.

I love your Quotation Archive. Many times I have needed just the right quotation in something I am writing and now I know where to go for it. I have used many of Schweitzer's quotes (many from the wonderful book, "Animals, Nature and Albert Schweitzer) by Ann Cottrell Free) as well as Henry Beston's "We need a wider view..." quote. I will also pass along this resource to Pauline and Clark Bronson who produce the exquisite videos "Animals and Art", and "Wildlife Sketches." I have been in touch with Pauline to order the videos, which use Schweitzer and other quotes, and she expressed interest in knowing where they could obtain other animal compassion quotes for their videos. I will send them your way!
