Letter from Jenny Moxham about Killing Pigeons for Food - 6 Jul 2007

I had this little one published in this weeks Bedigo Advertiser.

Pigeon slaughter angers reader

THERE is surely no more inoffensive and gentle-mannered bird than the pigeon. How sad to learn that even this mild-mannered little bird with its amazing flying and homing ability is being farmed and slaughtered to satisfy man's never-ending greed ('Feathered fare the recipe for success', in yesterday's Advertiser).
