Letter from Helen Ryan about Our Ministry and Putting a Beloved Companion Animal to Sleep - 7 Nov 2007
I am on my way to say goodbye to one more beloved animal in my life and I am so grateful for your kind words. I really needed to focus and connect today in order to be present in the moment for "her."
It causes ME great pain but it is the ultimate act of love to let go when it is "time" to cease the suffering in those pets who give us all
so much, without reservation. You've helped me muster the courage to
do this alone - something I've never had to do before.
May God Bless you and keep you and all those you love. And thanks for the website that makes me feel like I'm not alone in a more progressive take on faith and being a Jew. She'll die today in my arms and be born into another world without the pain or guile or suffering of this one. At least that's what I believe.
Thanks so much & Shalom

We know the pain you are feeling, as we've been there several times ourselves. You and she are in our prayers.
Thank you for your encouraging comments about our ministry.
