Dear Representative Gillibrand:

We have heard that the Director of the NIH, Dr. Elias Zerhouni, intends to correct the NIH peer review system. Since 1992, Eliot Spindel has received $7.6 million dollars from the NIH for wasteful, cruel, and unnecessary nicotine experimentation that is very disturbing. Unless it is ended now, this waste of taxpayers’ money is scheduled to continue through 2012.

Please contact Dr. Zerhouni and ask him to reevaluate his agency’s funding of nicotine research.
