There is a driving desire in each and every person to judge others, against a standard of perfection, that cannot be attained without the help of The Holy Spirit. Finding fault makes hypocrites of us all.
It is said in the scriptures, “love covers a multitude of sins”. In the presence of The Lord, there is no desire in us to measure anybody to anything.
To be righteous in judgement, is to remove any false premises and hidden sins from our own life and then with clarity, help a willing soul see and remove their sin.
To judge as a hypocrite, requires no preparation, only a fool’s heart. But as the song says, “Everybody Plays The Fool”.
One good thing to remember is, it’s their life…not yours. This leaves you plenty of time to mock and make sport of your own failures.
