Phyllis was a pre-Valentine gift,
But before that day she began to drift.
The kitties sent a gift of flowers,
But soon they'll lose their blooming powers.
A Valentine gift should not take
flight,
Their bloom should be a lasting delight.
You are that bloom that shines in my
life,
For the forty-two years you've been my wife.
