Cinquefoil, Common (Potentilla simplex) - 01

Cinquefoil, Common (Potentilla simplex) - 01
(Cinquefoil, Common (Potentilla simplex) - 01) The little dots of yellow of the common cinquefoil in the midst of a green field or along the sides of the woods often catch our eye, but we all too often fail to see the beauty that a closer view would give us.  The entire flower is only about 1 cm. or less than 1/2 inch across, yet God has endowed it with a special beauty.   The morning that we took this picture, this particular cinquefoil's glory was enhanced by a single dewdrop.

lamb-right lamb-left Presented here are just a few of the countless components of God's creation.  Just as we cannot have human and animal life without water and plants, neither can we have lasting peace without love and compassion.  It is our hope and prayer that this series will motivate people to live and act in a cruelty-free manner; that we would no longer hurt or destroy each other, the animals or our environment.
