DOG STAR

A clarion call for help
Not a bark
Nor a whimper
But yelp!

I peer out my window to see
Man's Best Friend strangling from a tree
Shocked and afraid, I made plans for a raid
to defend from Korean bully

I can only image their fear
Frenzied torment from ear to ear
Pummel away, Rover's flesh for the day
heighten their sex and foreplay

No rocket scientist am I
to distinguish a yelp from a cry
I reject the act; Korean fact
Won't let the Dog Star die.

Their cries have reached us.  For more information and to find out what you can do to stop the carnage visit Save the Dog
