Easter Beast

Easter tables boast an animal corpse collection
Carving the ham is pig flesh dissection
The bane of unsolicited vegan objection
Our truth is met with deceitful rejection
Animals murdered to celebrate the resurrection
An absolute morbidly horrid disconnection
Demented perception
Premeditated self deception
MAKE THE CONNECTION
For Jesus, you murder lambs!
For God, you turn pigs into hams!
Kindness, peace, & benevolence sham!
Animals bred
Bled
Pled
Dead
Humans fed
Easter table deathbed
Jesus loving meathead
Jesus rose from the dead…
That’s why animals blood is shed?
‘His’ creatures, their brains you splatter
His message of peace, in truth, doesn’t matter
It’s Christ’s ‘love of all beings’ paradigm you shatter
With the flesh addicted prayer you chatter
You pray, hands clasped, abject head
The pile of animals body parts on platters, dead
Praise Jesus! …ain’t that what you said?
Thanking your lord for flesh bought to keep you fed
Easter feast
You’re a beast
