Epistle Against the Fur Animalís Demise
by Andrew Pell

Would you murder for vanity.

No, but you are happy for animals to be killed so you can look good for all to see.

For these poor animals there is no such thing as peaceful surroundings or quality of life.

All they have to look forward to is the executionerís electronic knife.

About 20 fur animals have given their life so the Pope can wear a fur beret.

Unfortunately the animals in question didnít have any say.

Yet the Church continually sings ďAll things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and smallĒ

God reaching out to man has hit a tall wide wall,

ďAll things wise and wonderful, the Lord God made them all."

Vanity and acute cruelty were instrumental in bringing down manís fall.

We bury our head in the sand and plead total ignorance,

But are we willing to take a firm stand against such apathy and lack of conscience.

We should be focussing on saving all the fur animals so they may have and enjoy life.

We should be doing everything we can to save them from the butchers knife.

Do these creatures need to die so we can parade around in fur?

When your favourite cat is content, you can hear him purr.

Unfortunately for the other fur animals all you can hear are screams of agony and deathly fear.

The issue is so crystal clear.

We must take on the role of Guardians of these defenceless creatures.

Each with their own beauty and unique God given features.

We must take a stand and proactively protect these little innocents.

All life is sacred; we donít need the animals to give their life for Sacred Vestments.

The fur trade should be outlawed; it violates every sacred law.

It is like an open festering sore. One we cannot ignore.

God does not condone the slaughter for commerce or adornment.

We need to be valiant and brilliant and educated in the crusade we represent.
