Be as Free as a Tree
by Andrew Pell

What can we learn from a stately tree?

Things that come to mind, stable, constant, tall for all to see.

They will live for hundreds of years.

They shed no tears.

What can we learn from this wonderful creation?

It enjoys so much emancipation.

It is free, however its only enemy is development and progress.

It will be cut down; once again man’s greed will be put to the test.

There is a beauty in a tree that we all acknowledge and see.

Remember the song “I think that I have never seen, a poem as lovely as a tree”

These words are true. We can lean from a tree.  Be stable and free.
