The Writer

Do you have to have arrogance to write?
Must you be a god unto yourself; a creative deity;
Toggling between superior and inferior self evaluation,
Depending on what the wayward commenter has now asserted.
How wise of the Creator to create a soul who creates
And to, in their own image; their frail, fault-ridden, human portrait,
With limited perception and woefully small understanding;
But it is not until their arrogant pride is replaced,
With awe of the universe they were created to exist within
And if lowly of spirit, thrive and assuredly then able to touch others.
Through the writer's peers, their fellow creations, are they able
to fulfill their designed purpose; their reason of faith,
Summed up in the simple advice...know your audience!
