I dream I'm a raindrop
splash upon the ocean
fade away within her
to be forever more,
away from whatever it is or was
that left me -
all alone.
and land upon the seas, bed
eternally, steeped
rest my weary head
nestle 'neath the sand.
cry myself to sleep.
