(A Poem written around verse 3 of the Hymn (Praise my Soul the King of Heaven)

God is always merciful and forgiving. Eternal and always loving,
Evermore his praises we must always sing.
In his hands he gently bears us and rescues us from all our foes.
Righteousness will he always sow,
He is swift in mercy and slow to Anger.
God will always walk with us and be our heavenly Father.
We give thanks for his many blessings, grace and favour.
God and Christ are our Lord and Saviour.
Saints triumphant bow before him,
God is perfection, but provides us with Salvation.
We know we are feeble, but God picks us up and gives us strength.
The lonely and the outcasts God defends and blessings will he manifest.
“Glorious is God’s faithfulness”
