God's Evergreen
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
In God’s Evergreen are the cedars, pines and palms.
These trees are an extension of God’s wonderful arm.
They provide shade all through the year,
They provide shelter when the weather is severe.
God’s evergreen provides us with solace and peace.
They provide us with physical and spiritual release.
People and animals are part of God’s divine evergreen.
We also can extend our arms to those in need.
We can provide shelter and the hungry we can feed.
God’s evergreen never fades during the winter season.
We were created for this very reason.
Be part of the marvels of God’s creation.
Let us be the people of a spiritual nation.
