Do you know this lovely aria from Handel's "Messiah"?
It is spiritual music we all admire.
It gives a true depiction of Christ giving his life for all.
He obediently followed his father's call.
By his death the penalty was paid.
By his death all creation was saved.
People no longer needed to be afraid.
The Final sacrifice was complete.
Evil could no longer compete.
It is a victory that is not confined to time and history.
This is part of the Divine mystery.
It was part of God's salvation for man.
Everything with God is planned.
Next time you listen to Handel's great work of art.
Know that God and man will never part.
Sealed in Divine blood for all eternity.
A wonderful gift of total love shared so freely.
Christ on the cross is the centre mast.
This is a Divine covenant that will last.
Bringing into the world renewed hope and peace.
With each person God's Kingdom is on the increase.
