To be free if I were only
To soar with Eagles high
To see the Earth so small below
To race through bright blue Sky;

To be free if I were only
Touch the Face of Moon so pale
Fly with honking skeins of Canada's
With the night Wind we would sail;

To be free if I were only
To be mighty like the Whale
Live in that deep world of blue
Crack the Oceans with my tail!

To be free if I were only
To be Rivers running clean
To be clear as on the first day
Man's touch was yet unseen!

To be free if I were only
Fresh Earth, no pesticide!
No more piles of bodies
Of Creatures that have died!

To be free if I were only
Spirit, Mind, and Heart
To live with ALL CREATION...
Together.....not apart...
