Wounded in the Battle, He carries me in His arms.
As we journey together, the trumpets sound alarm.
Casting all my burdens and sharing all my cares;
Leaning upon His shoulder, as he answers every prayer.
Kneeling down before Him while basking in His love,
Cherishing His presence - as to angels above.
Reaching out to touch His hand, He puts His hand in mine.
Ready for the next journey, with the LORD by my side.
