Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
You’re almost drawn to him like a moth to a flame.
He has this light. This wisdom, and yet he’s simple.
He knows your secrets but you never said a word.
Because he’s the keeper of the broken people.
He does not judge or condemn. He just accepts you
with an open heart. His spirit feels so peaceful.
He is different from anyone I’ve ever met.
Because he’s the keeper of the broken people.
His presence is warm. Like going home. Comforting.
His faith in God is rock solid. Unshakable.
To be near him you know there is a Heaven too.
Because he’s the keeper of the broken people.
He does not recognize this in himself, not yet.
And he may never, only if it is God’s will.
His light is so bright from within the glare blinds him.
Because he’s the keeper of the broken people.
He has a calling and he walks in it daily.
He knows God’s word, he shares and teaches. So faithful
in his beliefs like a mountain but soft somehow.
Because he’s the keeper of the broken people.
I was sent to him for a reason; to his light.
I am broken. Yes. But my heart is mendable.
I can find the answers within myself through him.
Because he’s the keeper of the broken people.
Are the words he speaks his? Or belonging to God?
He says things that leave you dumbfounded. But hopeful
also with answers to your unspoken questions.
Because he’s the keeper of the broken people.
I was lost. Searching. Seeking. Looking for meaning.
I don’t know how I found him. Fate? Accidental?
Out of the darkness came the light. And it was he.
Because he’s the keeper of the broken people.
I will stay with him. Did I choose him? Or he I?
Either way the bond has been cast. Unbreakable.
He is home. His light warms me. His heart grants me peace.
Because he’s the keeper of the broken people.
