Limitations of Human Wisdom
Poetry and Music by Andrew Pell

We sometimes make wrong decisions and our friends get hurt.

Sometimes we render the friendship quite inert.

We all strive to do what is right.

At times it becomes a struggle and a fight.

We are but flesh and blood.

We blossom and flourish like a morning bud.

We wither and perish as fallen leaves from a tree.

It is only a connection to God that can set us free.

Often we stumble and fall.

Sometimes we are deaf to God’s eternal call.

God’s wisdom is everlasting bliss.

Without God we fall into the abyss.

There are limitations to human thought.

When man thinks for himself, it is all for naught.

Let the divine thought resonate through you.

God will make all things new.
