“Her” refers to the Church that Jesus founded.
A Church that accepted anyone regardless of race, colour, gender and creed,
All would be welcomed. No one would be denied.
It was a Church with no boundaries, walls or separation.
Through his teachings and death, and resurrection the seed was sown.
No mysteries, no liturgy, all would be taught and known.
Through simple love and acceptance God through man united together.
This Church will last forever.
Her longing eyes are truly blest.
The saints of old can truly rest.
