(A Paraphrase of Psalm 23)
Christ is the loving shepherd of your sheep.
He will watch over us and safely keep us from harm.
If we go astray he will earnestly go out and seek.
God will sound the alarm.

He will provide us with serenity and peace.
We will no longer need to fear or shed a tear.
Imagine a time when all troubles and turmoils cease.
Imagine the realization that God is always very near.

Christ will supply us with all our wants and needs.
We will sit with him and dine with him.
He on our behalf earnestly pleads.
He will lead us to a place where the light is not dim.

Love and blessings he will kindly bestow.
His love and forgiveness, he freely gives.
He will uplift us and anoint us when we are low.

He died and rose that we may live.
I know that Christ is with me at the close of day.
The bird’s, herald the evening activities.
The wonders of the night sky come into play.
Christ’s Goodness and mercy will always stay with me.
