Animal Rights, Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
In only
a minute or two
the cloud that was
a perfect cowboy hat
became
a breaching whale,
then quite quickly
morphed
to a soaring bird.
In only
a minute or two
the stiff and grumpy
old man
became
a gliding swan
almost floating
along
a wooded path,
his frown replaced
by a beaming smile
at a chattering squirrel.
And then,
without a sound,
dusk slipped in so softly
that everything
in the world
seemed so perfect,
so right.
How marvelous ――
the wonders,
the miracles,
the sweet, sweet
blessings
of change.
