Of all the creatures that I know
Not one has harmed our earth..
And God made them one and all
And gave them all great worth!

They roam the deserts, seas and hills
And fly the heavens blue
Replenish earth with all their kin
And keep the earth like new!

Not one pollutes nor fouls the air
Nor dams huge rivers bold
Nor wipes out species with a blast
Nor downs trees ancient...old!

All life lives in balance with each other
Years and years....
And man wipes them from the earth
Without the shed of tears!

Religions do not change his ways
Nor education, learning....
There's just a fire in his heart...
The love of killing burning!

He kills his own without regard
Without a care for harming...
There's no respect for other life
The problem is alarming!

I sometimes think the animals
Are the best of God's Creation..
And not many men respect one thing
Especially the animal nation!

Oh! Woe is he who wants to live
In a world devoid of animals...
It's 2007..yet still man behaves
Far worse than the days of cannibals!!...
