Our love is not a dazzling flame
Quickly dying. Our love is tame,
But glows with an eternal light
Strong and steady, day and night.

Our love is not all honeyed words,
Endless chatter fit for birds.
Our love’s a melody so pure,
A song that cannot but endure.
