We all feel sorrow when loved ones pass.
In God we trust and the grieving will not last.
We forget they have joined the heavenly throng.
Rejoicing and singing a new song,
As Saints of God, they are washed in the blood of the Lamb.
No longer does human frailty plus such demand.
Life is temporal; we are all on a journey.
In heaven we have crystal clarity.
Palms of Glory are what they hold.
This can neither be bought nor sold.
Do not grieve for those who pass.
They are on a ship with a cross like mast.
Clothed in white, blameless and cleansed from sin.
Enjoying a banquet with the Eternal King.
This world, this life is transitory and all will pass away.
Those who are redeemed will experience the everlasting light of endless day.
