Simply to the cross I cling
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
Through the Cross we have the gift of eternal life.
This rescues us from the Darkness and terrible strife.
The Crucifixion of Christ changed the World and brought Salvation to all.
But we need to hear and obey God’s clarion call.
God will always hold us upright so we never stumble or fall,
Cling to the Cross, for Divine peace will it bring,
In Heaven and on Earth you will always hear the Angels sing.
Hold on to the Cross with all your intellect and might.
Christ one day will return soon and that will be a glorious sight.
Simply to the Cross I cling, such wonders and peace will it bring?
