The sunrise is a glorious time
when all fine thoughts and peaceful views
bemuse the mind in humble ways.
'Tho' days are all too short,
the rising time, with gentleness - protracted,
allows reflection on those things
for which man ever hopes and prays!
And so the Sun,
with ever-welcoming arms,
radiates its warmth, revitalises; charms
the warmth from out our hearts
we'd spread around the Earth,
and brings a feeling of goodwill -
a feeling of re-birth!
