The House of a Friend
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
(Based on John Chapter 14:1-12)
Jesus said,” believe in God; believe in me.
In my Fathers house you can stay for free.
I have prepared this place for you.
My dear friend these words are true.
You have earned the privilege of staying here.
Remember my friend; my Father and I always near.
Since you know me, you know my Father.
I have many sisters and brothers.
Believe in what I can do.
You will accomplish greater things; my words are true.
Come, sojourn in my Fathers house above.
There you can rest, be at peace, you have earned my Father’s Love.
