Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
We remember the film “The Mask of Zorro”
He aided a poor nation and brought them joy to replace their sorrow.
We all remember “The adventures of Superman”.
Then there was the caped crusader called “Batman”
We invented all these fictitious characters that made us feel secure.
Yet God sent a real superman to this earth to be our saviour.
He healed the sick, raised the dead, and loved the poor.
This is very real and not some folklore.
The people in power did not like God interfering in their power base.
Yet he reached out his arms and love for all to embrace.
He was reviled, tortured and crucified on a cross.
The world wanted to show God who was the boss.
Then on the third day, the greatest miracle happened.
He rose from being dead to a world that was stunned.
The sad thing is, Christ is more powerful than the fictitious characters we
read about.
There is no reason anymore to doubt.
He came to this world because God loved his children and creation.
There was no Hollywood poster or caption.
We can all be superheroes and wear the Mask of Christ”
God’s love is freely given. God paid the price.
Let us all put on the mask of Christ and help the unloved and lonely.
We can also in Christ bring comfort to the weary.
Wear your mask today and help those who are empty.
Put on the mask of Christ.
