The River of Life

Life is like ever-flowing ebb less, endless river.
At times it can make you sad or be the greatest lover.
Non-stop; ever flowing and ever winding, always moving;
The tranquility of that river can be very soothing.
There are always hidden turns that throw us off guard.
It is like a deck of cards that is missing a major card.
There are of course shallow and dry spots that leave us empty.
If only we had the foresight to look beyond and see.
The river flows on regardless of what we say or do.
We can swim with the current and watch all our dreams come true.
If we try to swim against the current we loose our way.
Swim with the current expect a wonderful day.
The river of life will not always be crystal clear.
We pollute the river with our darkness and fear.
Tread water for a moment and let the water take you along.
You and the river truly belong.
The river flows continuously through storms and bliss.
Stop for a moment and let the water give you a kiss.
Today we may feel pain, but around the bend is happiness.
The river won’t let you settle for anything less.
Be steadfast in avenues and experiences of life.
Expect many more wondrous miracles than momentary strife.
