The Sword in the Stone
by Andrew Pell
Sometimes in life we have to pull the sword out of the stone to fulfil destiny.
Whatever that may be?
Whether to teach in hallowed walls,
Or behind closed office walls.
We must have courage to pull the sword out.
We must hold the sword up high and valiantly shout.
Once the sword is held high, we enter the spiritual quest.
On our integrity we do our best.
We stand firm by our principles of integrity and honesty.
Our opponents eyes will be opened, they will want to flee.
The darkness does not like the light.
With the sword of justice in our hands we will win the fight.
To remove the sword from the stone is to move forward.
To hold the sword up high will cause our spirits to move skyward.
As young Arthur pulled the sword from the stone to fulfil his destiny.
We can also pull the stone to move forward and fulfil our destiny.
