The Vast Difference of Insincerity
By Mark Edgemon

In the depth's of humanity, the only sanity,
Is the Truth we tell ourselves, not the lies that sustain us.
Poisoning our once clean spirits, infecting our souls,
Virus spawned, when manipulating to get our way; selfish!

Destiny of purpose calls, beckons, summons us,
To find our way home, back to our Divine purpose.
Yet steeped in the mystery of our own self worth,
We see what isn't there and miss what is!

Deep is the answer, dark are the shadows covering the page,
Where does it all lead and what is the end of it all?
Be kind in anger, in need, in hurt, in all that you do,
For self has a dark secret when seeking it's own...it is sin!
