We are flawed, but we can raise the bar
Poetry and Music by Andrew Pell

We are flawed but we can raise the bar.
Mistakes are made, but our vision goes far.
Human beings are limited, but have unlimited potential.
Faith in God and what we can achieve is essential.
Because of our nature, we may fail many times over.
Life isn’t always enhanced by a magical four-leaf clover.
Intelligence without divinity falls in a heap.
The biblical saying “What we sow is what we reap”.
Intelligence and God is what counts.
Otherwise we climb a perilous mount.
We are flawed but have the ability for greatness.
The possibilities are limitless.
Put uncertainty aside.
Buckle up for a wondrous ride.
First conquer our own perceived inadequacies.
Only then can we be truly free.
