Do we not long for the carefree days?

When our minds were on fire and our hearts ablaze

Do we not long for our loved ones again?

We know that life will never be the same.

Do we not remember yesterday as being carefree?

When we walked tall and were the people we dared to be.

We remember yesterday with pride.

In our hearts those moments will always abide.
