Animal Rights, Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
The woods
are so soft
this morning,
The slightest breeze
is feather-touching
the most delicate leaves,
The sunlight
filtering through
is mellow,
not harsh
or glaring,
The earth
is cool
and just a little moist,
The birds seem
to float slowly,
as if the air
were extra rich
and more buoyant;
My boundaries
soften too;
I can almost feel
my pores opening,
my mind gearing back,
my heart unclenching,
All reflecting
the softness
of the woods.
