God is My Co-dependant

Sarah Thomas was a devout religious woman who trusted God completely and always sought Him on every decision. She wouldn’t take a step without first consulting God first. She would ask for His Divine wisdom and then do exactly what she wanted to do all along. Asking God’s will gave her confidence and made her feel she was doing exactly what God wanted her to do. The doing her own will was her part of the equation.

She would sing “I Surrender All” on Sunday morning, while she thought on what she really wanted to do about the things she prayed about.

The pastor preached on one particular Sunday morning from the scripture that read, “If you love me, obey me.” Many people went to the altar to repent of their self-will and disobedience, but not Sarah. She always prayed, a thing she was mighty proud of.

On one dark and cloudy Sunday morning, she went to church as usual, not aware of any difference except for the dark feeling that was in the air, a kind of coldness of a spiritual nature. When she got to church, everyone was walking about instead of seated in the pews. The media was reporting that people were missing throughout the world. They had somehow just mysteriously disappeared without explanation. The pastor was reluctant to approach the possibility that the rapture had taken place, which meant they that were there were left behind.

When Sarah heard of this, she first prayed about it and then she started to figure out what she should do…as usual.
