Idiotology
Written by Mark Edgemon

Idiotology is the study and practice of false doctrine for the purpose of fitting in with a group, be it political, social, or religious. The term and the definition are mine and they describe the multitudes of the intentionally spiritually deaf and blind people, who walk toward their destiny of destruction, without a concern for their safety and well being, until things begin to turn bad.

Hubert was just such an idiot, who was willing to sacrifice his calling and purpose in life, as well as his potential relationship with God, for a pat on the back.

He was about to join a church, which was one in name only. The church was only interested in numbers and Iím not speaking of the biblical book of numbers. They needed numbers to grow. Numbers meant to them a head count of bodies in their services, talents they could exploit and money they could gather in. This was what they wanted from Hubert and as many people as they could bring in to their group.

Hubert really knew this down deep; matter of fact, he knew it in the front of his mind as well. He didnít care! He was about to receive a pat on his back and all it would cost him was his identity and his soul.
