IT'S A KNOCKED UP LIFE
Girls are having sex at younger ages these days. In a world where good is bad and bad is good, being a virgin is a stigma that most girls want to lose as quickly as possible.
Karen wanted to lose it. She wanted popularity, she wanted to be cared for and she wanted a life different that what was at home. Her parents were in a loveless marriage and hardly spoke to one another.
She was pretty and approached often for dates by the high school athletes. Date was just another word for sex. The prom was coming up and she held out for the captain of the football team. Her hopes were fulfilled when he asked her to the prom, complete with limousine ride, flowers and a meal in a fancy restaurant.
She was nervous about the date because she never had sex before and didn't want to come off inexperienced. Three months before her date, she went out with a guy from another school for a practice run, so to speak, at having sex.
Her date had a callus disposition and acted like she was just another conquest. A couple of months later...she was pregnant.
She didn't go to the prom, because now she was showing and was mortified concerning her own callousness about sex and the consequence which now had changed her life. But she was not alone. Five other girls became pregnant after the prom, a total of three hundred throughout the city, ten thousand throughout the nation. She just didn't think it through. She has time to do so now.
Moral: Decisions are seeds that when planted, bear crops for the world to see.
