Lululemon understands the benefits of cruelty-free synthetic materials, as the company already features many of these products in stores and online. Please urge Lululemon to take a compassionate stance for geese and the Earth by no longer selling down. Selling down is inconsistent with Lululemon's promotion of compassion and environmental stewardship.

Watch Plucking the Down from Geese.
Yoga-apparel company Lululemon knows that birds used for down are pinned down as hurried workers yank fistfuls of feathers from their sensitive bodies while they are still alive, often plucking them so violently that they rip open the birds' delicate skin, and then sew up the gaping wounds using a needle and thread but no painkillers.
The company also knows that the down industry supports the notoriously cruel foie gras industry—in which birds have tubes rammed down their throats and their stomachs pumped so full of corn mush that their livers swell to as much as 10 times their normal size—since foie gras producers boost their profits by selling the feathers of these force-fed birds.
Lululemon is also aware that goose farms contribute to the same environmental problems as other factory farms. And yet the company continues to sell down products.
Thank you for everything you do for animals!
