I Should Have Read Vernon’s Latest’ First!
‘ANYONE WHO TELLS YOU VACCINES ARE SAFE AND EFFECTIVE IS LYING. HERE
IS THE PROOF’
Well, how is that for a long title of a book? (But then the writer of
the same is not bound by the literary style most other publishers fall
in ‘with flock like fashion’ and ‘clone like conformity’. Dr Vernon
Coleman is a brave individualist and – I very much sense – has been as
willng to rock the medical establishment as I have the church; and that
he may have been more successful in his sphere than I have been in mine,
is all credit due to him.
Indeed, it was little credit to myself that having received a copy of
this long named book, I allowed quite a pushing but most courteous GP to
give me a flu jab before actually getting down to read this very latest
of Vernon Coleman’s books in depth. Words to the effect that at 81 one
should really consider the benefits of the flu jab here in his surgery,
allowed me to succumb. Yes, and succumb I undoubtedly did; and so did
Doreen later!
Within four days I was back at the surgery when I was only able to
see the Triage Nurse. ‘Ah, there can be no connection! I sense it’s just
a very mild after effect, if that! Being a virus, antibiotics are no
good; just take loads of liquid, plus Paracetomals, and you’ll soon be
OK!’ Well, three nights on, and my chest was crackling as soon as I lay
flat. Indeed, the last time this had been experienced was twelve years
previous when diagnosed as having pneumonia! Well, I was taking no
risks: off we went to the nearest A & E in the bleak of night. Soon 500
mg Amoxycillan was prescribed as well as the offer to be accepted in as
a patient, which I declined. However, not only was I now on the
medication for three weeks; but Doreen who’d also had the jab, came down
with the same virus which she appeared to have caught from myself, and
needed a lesser dose of the same treatment
Well, enough about us! Yes except to say that having survived
previous winters without the jab and equally without the flu!, this
winter we both experienced the worst bout of a horrid flu attack we’ve
ever experienced before. Can one wonder that I have since, not only read
Vernon Coleman’s book from cover to cover? Indeed I have also learned of
so very many other adverse effects from the jab amongst so very many
other folk one daily encounters.
